OUR APPROACH ON SUSTAINABILITY
We are working hard to minimise our impact on the environment by reducing food miles and using local producers where possible. We have a strong relationship with our produce suppliers who share our values, buying British ingredients wherever possible. We are always happy to source organic ingredients (when in season) on request.
We encourage our staff to use public transport or cycle to and from events, where this is not possible, we encourage carpooling. All of our vehicles are Euro 6 Compliant and along with coordinating route planning we will seek to reduce fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions.
LEFT OVER PRODUCE
Fresh Fruits and Citrus such as Pineapples, Oranges, Lemons and Limes are sent to a local supplier for dehydrating allowing these to be used on future events. Vegetables such as Carrots, Beetroot, Cucumber etc that are left over from our Juice Bar Package is donated to local food banks.
We have a system in place at all events to recycle all waste, dividing cardboard, glass bottles and general waste in the provided bins. If Bins are not provided, we will take all refuse off site and recycle this with our local council.
We use biodegradable straws, napkins and cups for all our events to ensure minimal harm to the environment.
